Arthur I would say is the around the top characters of low tier, he is very good at keep away and dictating the pace of the match with his projectiles, his movement and jump is a huge learning curve compared to the rest of the cast considering he has no dash and a moon jump akin to Deadpool, although this is remedied by Arthur's Air S and double jump. Arthur when used correctly can be a serious threat to teams who lack a good approach, like Haggar and Hulk, as soon as you maintain that distance, keep that distance, and if they close the distance, you still have Arthur's Heavenly Slash which have invincible frames as a punishing move, which gain soft knockdown properties in Kings Armor.

Despite all these good points Arthur's weaknesses are as plain as day, if you don't cover yourself properly Characters with teleports can run circles around you and mix you up, not to mention ambiguous cross ups can cause problems for both less experienced and hardened veterans. While his Kings Armor is definitely a game changer it is also a ticking time bomb, a big mistake Arthur players make is when they put Arthur on point, just to upgrade him to Kings Armor and then tag him into the anchor slot, this means that plan on using Arthur in level 3 X factor and locking you down with lance, the big problem with this is even if the opponent does not have X factor, you can perfect push block the lances and wait for Arthur's Kings armor to run dry, and a character like Wesker can punish the hard knockdown resulting in a dead character in most cases. And is the Arthur switches it up, they run the risk of being mixed up themselves, its something to keep in mind if this is your strategy with Arthur, do NOT rely on kings Armor, it helps but make sure you know how to cover yourself when your armor rent runs out.
