- Minecart can cross the stage in less than 3 seconds, gains ground regardless of time inside, blocks allow him to get to her blidn spot (diagonals) incredibly easily. Her zoning is linear and not even effective, she gets camped harder by Steve behind a wall
- Phantom only helps offstage if Zelda has enough time to place it, and then if Steve just doesn't simply place another one
- Just waiting for a player to completely mess up their resource management isn't going to work in a competitive environment, especially because Zelda has no way to force Iron out of Steve because of her bad pressure and slow zoning
- Neutral B isn't as good as you think because you've never played offline
Lol this is the worst matchup in the whole game dont @ me.
No options back on stage because Zelda can zone the hell out of Steve, phantom literally just covers Steve's gimmick of placing blocks offstage, the fireball thingy always catches Steve if he has no iron left, and even if you do enough iron for an anvil and/or a minecart don't get me started on Zelda's BROKEN neutral B.
In any respect, Steve is literally screwed against a good Zelda.
