Chrom has the advantage in many areas here. He wins neutral more often, he can wall Pokemon Trainer out, he's faster than Pokemon Trainer, and he can ledge trap them well. The only advantage Pokemon Trainer has over Chrom is edgeguarding.

I don't see how Pokemon Trainer wins at all, especially with that 7 / 3 in their favor against Chrom. My vote is Chrom 6 / Pokemon Trainer 4.

Agreed. Even the professionals agree Chrom wins this matchup.

All 3 Pokemon destroy Chrom offstage pretty bad. Squirtle with Water Gun, Ivysaur with fsmash/dair, and Charizard with Flamethrower but they gotta get Chrom offstage first which is tough especially when all the things Max said was true above.
