Rightfully Mii Swordfighter's worst matchup for pretty much good reasons.

The neutral is really hard for MSF here as not only does he have trouble hitting Pichu with landing and rising aerials, but T-Jolts make it a huge pain to get anything started with Chakram or Gale Strike. The constant pressure of the t jolt itself, plus Pichu running behind is something Mii Swordfighter cannot deal with. That negates Pichu's biggest weakness; not having the lead, as even if it doesn't have the lead here, it can constantly keep firing T-Jolts that force MSF into shield or to jump, which he doesn't want to do against Pichu as he can't hit it upon landing and can't deal with it's shield pressure.

The other main problem is Mii Swordfighter's non existent punish game and extreme disadvantage offstage and on ledge. Because Pichu is 62 units in terms of weight, it gets knocked so high from Gale Strike Mii Swordfighter cannot get any followups here, as well as down throw up air, meaning his main ways of cheesing Pichu is out the window here, especially because he is going to rely on 2 framing with it. Pichu's punish game is of course insane here, as well as it getting easy edgeuards. The ledge is also bad as MSF has no options, where if he stays hanging on ledge, he can get f tiled or hit by a hugging-the-stage T-Jolt, If he jumps, he has to try to land and hit Pichu (which like earlier, is a choice he does not want to make), and all the other options a good Pichu player should just be able to predict (like shield grabbing get up attack or catching ledge roll.)

So overall, this matchup is really awful for MSF because he has virtually no strengths in this matchup, other then 2 framing. He gets destroyed in neutral, disadv, and even struggles to kill here as he can't land a hit on Pichu at all, let alone kill it with any of his kill moves. At least with Pika, he can get followups off of down throw and gale strike. This MU is -3, which in the eventhubs system equates to 2/8, which what I vote. Curious to hear why 22.2% of people think this MU is even.
