How is this matchup slightly in R.O.B's favour? Its commonly agreed upon as even or Meta Knight's favour very slightly. R.O.B players like Zomba, Epic_Gabriel, 8BitMan and Sebpro101 (Best or one of the best R.O.B players in Australia) thinks the mu is slight loss for R.O.B, while some other R.O.B's like Grayson and WaDi think it is even for R.O.B at best, where on the Meta Knight side, BONK! thinks its 6/4 in MK's favour while Yei thinks its even. All of this rounds to 56/44, which promptly puts it in Meta Knight's favour in terms of top player opinions, but you can vote 5/5 as it is realistic to say this matchup is even as well.

Neutral is in R.O.B's favour, as he can do a pretty good job keeping MK out with a mix of Gyro stopping MK running in, and jump back nair, hold forward fair and Laser stop MK's aerial approaches, plus up close, R.O.B has just as good as frame data + as good range as MK's sword moves. I think R.O.B has overall better damage racking just because he has better combos (d tilt, gyro, grab stuff mostly, while MK just has stray hits and d throw stuff). Their cheese games are equally broken on each other, as MK has ladder uair ztds/60% combos that are very consistent on R.O.B and R.O.B has BS Gyro ztds/60% combos that work on MK, but because of the way MK plays and the size he is, its easier for MK to set up a ladder then it is for R.O.B to set up a gyro combo. Advantage and Disadvantage definitely go in MK's favour however. R.O.B can't edgeguard MK literally at all as R.O.B edgeguarding relies on telegraphed paths, but sadly for R.O.B, Mk's multiple jumps and plethora of recovery specials make it hard for R.O.B to pin him down, and if MK goes high, he can just dimensional cape down for free. cap. If R.O.B goes high, he gets landing trapped by MK very hard and if he goes low, he has to face the wrath of Mach Tornado, fair, bair and dair, where because of MK's multiple jumps, he can pretty much punish any option R.O.B tries to do to swat MK away like a fair of something. Ledgetrapping blows for R.O.B as well, as MK just Demensional capes out of everything, while MK can react and punish a lot of R.O.B ledge options pretty well (roll and neutral getup), parry nair if R.O.B does ledge jump fast fall nair, and f smash outranges R.O.B's get up attack and hits roll.

Overall, I vote 5/5, but this matchup is slightly leading in MK's favour.
