King Dedede is one of Marth's two unfavorable matchups, as his excellent recovery gives Marth major difficulties in landing an edgeguard, and D^3's endurance overall forces Marth to land sourspots with the Falchion (or tippers for more competitive people). While it is still a workable matchup for Marth, it is still 6/4.

Here's a better explanation:
Marth's weight, 87, is within the threshold that allows him to be down chain thrown by King Dedede, although it is really difficult on most tourney legal stages. King Dedede's recovery, with multiple midair jumps and super armor in Super Dedede Jump, is near impossible for Marth to edgeguard. Finally, King Dedede has among the best survivability in the game and has the capability to space with f-tilt, so Marth has to use tippered moves to KO Dedede. Approaching him, though, is a hassle not only because of f-tilt spacing, but also Waddle Dees. As Marth has counter to match moves like f-smash and up tilt, King Dedede will aim to KO Marth offstage, which is easy to do given his dangerous bair and Marth's easily edgehogged recovery. Marth's only advantage is the faster speed of most of his attacks, but that is not enough to save him from his worst matchup alongside Meta Knight. My vote goes to 6/4.
