Not only that, but Luigi's traction prevents him from punishing Ike unless he is always perfect shielding. Ike's jab and back air also match the speed of most of Luigi's attacks, and unlike Mario, Luigi has a harder time edge guarding Ike since he doesn't have FLUDD or a good semi-spike (like down smash). Similarly, Ike gimps Luigi to hell: both Green Missile and Cyclone are among the easiest recovery moves in Brawl for Ike to punish with a forward air. To Luigi's credit, he does have Fireballs and, as established, can punish Ike if he perfect shields, but it's so technical to do so and it's easily apparent that Ike simply does a lot more to Luigi. This is IMO one of Ike's best 4 matchups.
