The lock in Sheik's forward tilt allows her to give Fox over 50% damage, and with her frame data and above average edge guarding, she has plenty of options to finish Fox off. Sheik is tied with the Ice Climbers and Pikachu as Fox's worst matchup overall.

More appropriately, Fox's linear recovery makes it easier for Sheik to edgeguard him, which is her primary method of scoring KOs.
