Ice Climbers do to Falco what he does to a bunch of other characters: beat him in neutral hard and destroy with a way more superior damaging game (lethal in some cases chain grab).
Falco's lasers aren't reliable at zoning Ice Climbers as Ice Climbers are to short to reliably get hit by them if Falco is firing them at the climax of his short hop. If he fires them at the lowest point of his short hop, they only stun one climber, meaning one can move forward and start a desync shield pressure setup. Falco can side b away from them, however, a b reverse ice shot can pressure Falco as he falls to other side of the stage, forcing him to shield where he can get grabbed as if he chooses to shine, it can get him grabbed as well. Up close, Falco lacks safe poking moves that don't get him grabbed, where Icies mallets outrange Falco's own moves. Once off a grab, Icies can pretty much get any desync setup they want on Falco as he falls fast enough for any like handoffs or desync down throw into spike fair into re grab. Falco's own d throw chain grab doesn't work, which basically kills his damage racking as well as the fact that he also lacks good ways to separate the climbers, as if he does side b Icies can shield and his other strong moves are laggy and easily shield grabbable. Even one climber can chain grab Falco with there down throw across the stage. This matchup is nothing more then mentally exhausting and hard for Falco, and a secondary is highly recommended like Peach and ZSS, or a more easy to use character like MK, Ike and Wario. I vote 3/7.
