I actually have Mac as my pocket main, my go to in case Hunt and Cloud don't work. Here's the gist of this match up, unless you are M2K, this match up is way out of Cloud's favor since most of Cloud's attacks are multi hit, allowing Mac the opportunity to literally jab them away. Second, Mac's super armor may not be forever, only 8 frames on his fsmash, but those 8 frames are enough to not only clash with one or both of the swings of an fsmash from Cloud, but hit through it. Plus, like Mac, Cloud's recovery is bad... worse in fact, because Mac can at least side b back to the stage. Whether he makes it or not is irrelevant.

Cloud's grab range is almost as bad as Mac's, and neither have kill throws. Mac's fsmash has more uses than Cloud's, and Cloud is slower all the way around than Mac. All of Mac's data is better. This match up can only be determined by who is off the ground. A good Mac won't ever let himself be moved from the ground, but a good Cloud may not be good enough to overturn Mac's ability to super armor everything.

This match up is almost explicitly in Mac's favor. Definitely a 3-7 instead of a 7-3.

+Scr089 saying Mac's recovery is worse than Cloud's is like comparing a skyscraper to a shed
Plus Cloud can also recover with limit
