I would say that Cloud is overall a better character than Pit. But Dark Pit's side B incredible knockback to the sides (whereas Pit's side B knockback is high up and not on the sides) combined with Cloud's awful recovery, is a good reason why he is 5/5 matchup with dark pit

This MU isn't terrible for Dark Pit. Cloud's hurtbox calls for easy combos and resets, and side-b is an incredible option to counter Cloud's recovery. DPit can also mash nair out of a select few of Cloud's combos. And gods, reflecting that limit-charged blade beam is so damn satisfying. :^)
