Although everybody seems to think Ness and the Villager are mostly even I think this should really be in Lucas' has more advantages competitive wise. His bar can deflect the projectiles faster than Ness' bat. Also since Lucas' PK Thunder moves through opponents it can also disable the Villager's recovery so Lucas wouldn't need to leave the edge.

So 6/4 for Lu/Vi.

Ok I withdraw the part about the recovery however Lucas can still rack up damage with PK thunder while the the villager recovers.

I don't know what Villager players have to say but so I still stand by my 6/4.
