Roy & Ike... which one will stay in the next Smash ? Roy was in the series first, but Ike is more "important" and well-known. Are they semi-clones ? Indeed, they share B neutral special and Dair. I personally find they physically resemble (they both have a headband - except I'm not sure Roy has exactly that - and a similar look with their "serious" eyes, in addition of kneepads and shoulder pads - even if those aren't the same, they both have them - and maybe more than I think yet). To add another resemblance, their swords operate in a relatively similar way in that they are stronger at the hilt and weaker at the tip, although there are some differences. To further make them somewhat clones, they someway both fight for their friends and they say it more or less in their victory poses ! Moreover - but that only engage myself - Ike's up taunt and Roy's down taunt resemble too (they grunt...). They probably both have been included to represent the "strong" FE character in SSB. Maybe they'll both stay, but they should be re-worked to have their personal style rather than that "strong" role. Btw, tell me if I made some failures in my descriptions, if they are miore different than I find.

@SamusMetroid literally nobody cares about your giant paragraph, it's too early to discuss it and if another game does happen then we'll worry then. They'll both be in.
