why did anyone vote Meta Knight 3 / Mewtwo 7? I can't see it being that bad.

As a Meta Knight main, and having a decent amount of knowledge and experience against player of an even skill level, I can tell anyone that this match-up is very much in Meta Knight's favour for many reasons:

1. Mewtwo is lighter than Meta Knight by fair amount (MK: 80 units, M2: 72 units) while it may not sound like much to the average player, the differences in survivability are quite noticeable in-game, combined with MK's much faster fall speed.

2. His taller stature combined with his lighter weight also makes it so that he is vulnerable to MK's finishers, such as forward smash back air, and most infamously, to MK's Up air to Up-B combo being a floaty, while being too tall to escape the combo without proper DI despite being a floaty.

3. While still apparent, Mewtwo's finishers are overall less effective on Meta Knight when compared to characters of similar weight classes (such as Kirby or Rosalina, both of which are lighter and heavier than MK and M2 respectively). Up Throw is the most notable example; while it is defiantly capable of KOing MK, it is less effective on him because MK is heavier than most "Super" Lightweights, while falling much faster than the characters he is heavier than (except Fox).

4. Mewtwo is overall slower than Meta Knight both attack and mobility wise (air speed being an exception) making it hard for M2 to get the first hit on him combined with his mediocre projectile and approach/Neutral game, and MK's normally poor approach/Neutral game becomes better as a result.

Finally. Meta Knight's punish game is almost guaranteed to put Mewtwo in an horrible position, as MK's combo game and finishers are overall better than M2's. Combined with M2's perviously mentioned flaws, its almost like he's asking MK: "Hit Me!"

Overall, with Mewtwo's survivability, approach, and KOing issues on Meta Knight, I would say this match-up is arguably getting to the point of almost unwinable for Mewtwo (Not as bad as Brawl MK VS. Brawl Ganon, and more like Melee Roy VS. Melee Fox; its possible but not easy) and could arguably be one of M2's worst match-ups tied with Captain Falcon, Zero Suit Samus, and Pikachu (characters with similar attributes, strategies, and punishes as MK).

But I can sort of see why people say M2 has the advantage or dead even, but until someone can prove me wrong, I'm going to say this is heavily in MK's favour.
