What makes Mewtwo duck hunt”s worst matchup?

My guess is that the combination of Shadow Ball and Confusion limits Duck Hunt's zoning game, and Mewtwo's melee attacks have more range. I'm actually not sure why it's that bad, since Mewtwo's large hurt box makes combos and punishes against it really potent, especially considering how light it is. In fact, Brood believes this matchup is even, while Ozone even believes that Duck Hunt has a slight advantage. The most common opinion on this matchup is that Mewtwo has a slight advantage. I believe Duck Hunt's worst matchup is actually Cloud.
