Yoshi is one of the few chars that can give Ness a bad time. His egg toss can jump most projectiles and his long ranged grab can outdo Ness. His biggest advantage, though, is his nair which can break out of Ness's fair chain with good DI, as well as breaking out of PK Fire by just DI'ing out and hitting nair as soon as possible (usually ends up with hitting a charging Ness going in for a grapple and sends them flying.)
