Mega Man vs. Toon Link Super Smash Bros. 4 tiers, match-up votes and discussion

From what I've played online, Toon Link is a hard counter to Megaman. Spamming arrows and boomerangs on the ground and his side air attacks if properly timed can beat out MM. Megaman seems to have a hard time getting in. Thoughts?

I can see how at first Toon link, and even further link could be a hard counter to the Blue Bomber. Tlink has tools like the boomarang and arrows, as well as a shield. Although he can space the timing of each of these, Megaman has the ability to cancel out any of these projectiles with his 'lemons' (Jab or tilt)

In my experience this trumps link's projectile spam game because it allows you to position yourself closer and punish the opponent if they continue to use their projectiles up close.

An additional note however. Link's bombs are not affected the same way as the other projectiles, and are not canceled out by the lemons. Neither is a fully charged arrow shot.
