I don't know why anyone thinks Sonic could ever have an edge in this fight. Megaman actually outspeeds Sonic because he can move/jump and shoot his lemons at the same time. Lemons completely stop sonic's spindash attacks and nerf any of his ground approaches. Sonic's air approaches are slow, and Megaman was MADE to handle people with slow air approach. Sonic has NO WAY AT ALL to get in close to Megaman, save for spamming on Homing Attack (but that can be dodged and even punished by a good Megaman)

I agree with your explanation. My estimate for this matchup is currently 57/43 in Mega Man's favor, making it one of Sonic's worst matchups. I really don't see why people voted 3/7.
