Lucina vs. Sheik Super Smash Bros. 4 tiers, match-up votes and discussion

Sheik is one of the handful of matchups where I would say Lucina does better than Marth. Both Lucina and Marth struggle at getting by Needle Storm and are equally vulnerable to Sheik's combos, but Marth has the additional problem of being unable to constantly space Sheik out since she is so swift and hard to intercept. Since Lucina's moves are stronger up close, she doesn't have to worry about not being able to keep Sheik away, since coming up close and hacking away is her specialty. Conversely, Marth would be better against characters who have short range in their attacks, such as many Mario series characters. Sheik isn't a matchup that Lucina wins, but it's not a counterpick-worthy matchup like Marth's matchup against Sheik. I would say that Marth/Sheik is 3/7, while Lucina/Sheik is 4/6.

I'm happy they buffed Marth and Lucina.
