little mac is hard to judge because he is so popular, i main villager and i dont really mind playing against little mac because the hangtime on the turnips makes it really easy to hit little mac for a safe landing and villager is never 'free falling' out of the sky to be an easy target for little mac because of the style of recovery. its possible to just hang off the edge and slingshot and Lloyd rocket little mac when he is hovering over the ledge making him want to move back a bit, then when he is far away if i am able to set up my tree which makes the ground a bit trickier and he cannot stay too close to it or he will get timbered he cant safetly jump over it because he is really easy to axe midair and the tree will stop him preforming the standard A combo if i am right beside it similar to pac mans fire hydrant.
if little mac is recovering from the lower corners he becomes an easy target to both Bowling ball and Watering can aswell as villager being allowed to take more longer time off the edge due to his balloon trip recovery.

however against little mac villager cant play well pysically with only the standard A boxing gloves to fend and him away and back off and the Down a Weed pull to launch him in the air

As a Villager main, Little Mac mains are no problem for me. If they play aggressively, I can easily keep them away with a forward tilt or down tilt. When a down tilt is landed, I can juggle them with nairs and uairs for at least 20%. If they play defensively, I plant a tree and spam rockets. All it takes to kill them is either an up tilt into a nair or fair/bair or a net off the stage. Once they're off, it's just a matter of landing nairs.
