link has to many advantages to lose to meta knight he has zero defense against projectiles meta knight speed and long range combo attacks can get him some hits but all u need to be is patient then counter

Meta Knight IMO is one of Link's worst matchups since not only is he faster overall than Link and harder to punish, but he combos Link much harder even after factoring in Link's zoning setups. Patience doesn't really help when Meta Knight is fast enough to just rush Link down and dodge incoming projectiles. It's easier than it seems for Meta Knight to get in, and once he does, Link has a hard time getting him out. Meta Knight is definitely up there with Fox, Little Mac and Sheik as being among the hardest, most aggravating matchups for Link. It's easily a 3/7 matchup.
