Is there a reason as to why you do this?

Anyway, this matchup is IMO either even or slightly in Zelda's favor (I am leaning more towards the latter). Zelda dies very easily to King Dedede's punishes, but she combos him very well, and his large hurt box makes him easy to Lightning Kick and get other kill confirms. She has a few moves that are great at beating out Gordos, such as Nayru's Love, nair, Din's Fire, and her forward smash and tilt. Because of her higher air speed and less predictable recovery, I might give Zelda the advantage in edgeguarding since Din's Fire can be a problem when King Dedede has to recover low, although she does have to watch for Gordos if she is offstage.
