And Ike has a better recovery overall.
At higher percentages Ike can throw Ganondorf off-stage and use his fair to edge guard him.
This Matchup is 60-40 in Ike's Favor. Ike wins due to better Frame Data, better General Range (especially in the air), and a better combo game thanks to grabs. However, due to both characters extremely good punish game, it can go either way depending on who messes up. However Ike is often less in danger in this MU thanks to his range and Frame Data so he really has to overcommit to be punished hard, but that's just what can happen. Stage Control is also a major priority in this Matchup, as both characters are extremely vulnerable to the other once offstage. Overall, while Ike's tools overwhelm Ganon's tools, the MU can go either way depending on who wins the Neutral first and who gets Stage Control first.
