Donkey kong is slow and a big character that is very punishable with a the fastest character in the game. Sonic is my main and I e never lost against a donkey kong because he is slow, has a bad recovery, and is at the bottom of the tier list 😜 (may 24, 2015)

Sonic is not a combo master but, This matchup shows sonic can definitely hit combos and juggle DK because of his huge hitbox. Sonic makes easy work of DK and its hard almost to near impossible for the lead to shift in DK's favor. sonic is just really good at wearing DK down quickly. Also consider the fact that DK has moves that can be easily avoided in the end this matchup almost never works in DK'S favor. (july 18 2015)
