The reason why they're so close is probably due to having very similar options.
They're by no means clones (or even close) but they both have a divekick, the Super cancelable MP>HP>B+HP Palm special, cancelable HP, MK launcher, etc.
Yun wins obviously because of Gen'ei Jin. Yang has no real desirable supers, but SAII is useful for having EX rekkas, making this not so disadvantageous
