This is arguably one of Hisako's best matchups. Since Sabrewulf is a full-on Rushdown character, you would think this matchup would go well for him since Hisako doesn't have many defensive options or any moves to get around grabs. And that's not COMPLETELY wrong, but the problem is starting your rushdown in the first place. Hisako has a very strong neutral game that can just STOP Sabrewulf. Standing heavy punch/medium punch are great normals to stop him from running, crouching hard punch/medium punch are great anti-airs, and if that is not cutting it out for you, you can just Counter whatever move he goes to after he starts running. He can try to mix you up with Low/Overhead, but again, Hisako just has so many options to stay away from him, even her Teleport works in some situations, so you don't actually need to rely on your Counter. Now, you might be asking "what if he chooses not to run ?". Well, you can try baby steps to get in, but it's really hard to move around against such amazing neutral game. Your best option is to get into jumping range, jump when she tries to poke you and pray to God your opponent wasn't expecting a jump-in. That being said, once he does get in, it's rather hard to push him back again, but if you do, than he has to go through all the struggle once again.
Basically, what dictates this matchup is how well you do in neutral with Hisako, and trust me, a Sabrewulf player really DOESN'T want to face a Hisako with great footsies. 6-4 matchup for Hisako imo
