Justin 'AdaptiveTrigger' Gordon

Content Editor

Although Justin has his bachelor's degree in Computer Science, he discovered his passion for writing about fighting games after joining the EventHubs team. Having said that, he was responsible for creating features such as move pages, tiers sections for games, the tournament player listings, and more.

At a young age, he begun putting a great deal of his free time into the Super Smash Bros. series, starting with Super Smash Bros. 64. Since then, he's been able to win a few local tournaments while using unorthodox characters.

Eventually, he transitioned into more traditional fighting game franchises such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Throughout his time playing titles in the fighting genre, he's discovered the huge amount of depth contained within them.

His experience has granted a near encyclopedic knowledge of fighting game interactions and a deep understanding on how frame data works. Justin enjoys using this knowledge to help others improve their gameplay. As a result, this tends to be reflected in his writing.
