SSBU with characters: [u'Pichu', u'Shulk']
How exactly does Shulk win 7:3 here? This seems like a fishy vote to me because if Pichu loses 7:3 to Shulk, then I think that Pikachu loses at least 6:4 to Shulk. It just seems really off to vote that way. I saw the same vote on ZSS vs. Pichu, with a few people voting 7:3 for ZSS. How is Pichu a winning matchup for her too?
SSBU with characters: [u'Joker', u'Young Link']
I don't think that Young Link really loses this matchup anymore. With more knockback on some of his best attacks as well as some of the best zoning tools in the game, he can camp out Arsene until it's gone. This is especially true since the Arsene meter depletes more quickly when Joker takes damage.
What kind of buffs and nerfs could patch 7.0.0 bring to the table for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
If they were to do that, Arsene would be absolutely broken, even with it being toned down. That means you would have to kill Joker for him to lose Arsene, and that make Joker a losing matchup to every single character. I would rather it be harder for Joker to get Arsene, such as reducing how much meter he gets from his Rebel's Guard. Also, Tetrakarn's hitbox is seriously too large, making it near impossible ...
Mr. R releases his version 6.1 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tier list
Mirror matches are less prevalent because there are more characters to choose from in this game, so not everyone is going to pick Joker or Palutena. That would make the competitive scene for Smash Ultimate boring and predictable. Plus, players like Samsora and Maister have been able to optimize characters like Peach and Mr. Game & Watch enough to make them S-tier characters. That is why Joker and Palutena are not the only "true" S-tiers. ...
This really shows that more people are getting good at their play-styles, but it also shows that characters like Young Link, Mario, Fox, and Pichu can do really well, even at these big-name tournaments.
Leffen unveils his version 7.0 tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, shares thoughts on newcomer Byleth
He probably placed each one lower because of how they would place if they were alone instead of all together. When brought together, they are in high tier. Otherwise, they would each be mid tier.

Byleth and version 7.0.0 are now available in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, here are the patch notes
I don't think Toon Link needed to be buffed, but I am so happy that Young Link now has more knockback on some of his attacks. He took forever to take a stock off someone, but now he won't struggle with that as much.
