Hungrybox creates early match up chart for Minecraft's Steve in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in 5 minutes
I will say that he may be right on the Peach/Daisy matchup. Peach being one of the most aggressive characters, Steve will have a hard time getting her away from him to craft, especially if he does not have the sufficient resources. Peach actually could be Steve's worst matchup from the get-go. As for all other matchups, I am not really sure where Steve stands. I do think that it was a little early to ...
Where do the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tier lists sit just before Minecraft's Steve releases this week
This tier list literally got bombarded with so many votes this past week. Just over a week ago, Mr. Game & Watch was sitting pretty at #6, and now he has suddenly dropped to #11. Shulk was bouncing back and forth between #10 and #13 like two weeks ago, and all these votes just made him jump up to #7. Young Link was also on his way to the top 10 before he suddenly got ...
ESAM's Version 8.0.0 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tier list places Min Min firmly in the top tier category
Every time ESAM makes a tier list, it's based only on theory-craft. Pikachu might be very strong with few weaknesses, but without the results to back it up, his claim can't really be supported. It's important to consider different aspects when making a tier list, like results, matchups, and strengths and weaknesses of the character. In ESAM's case, his tier lists rely almost exclusively on strengths and weaknesses, with maybe matchups being a minor factor. ...
Dabuz releases his early 8.0 tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with Min Min included
I'm really shocked that he put Pichu in Low Tier. How? I know that he is the lightest character and he damages himself while fighting, but his high damage output and being able to quickly close out stocks should make him at least high tier. Sheik should be in Upper Mid Tier because her damage output is still really low and struggles to close out stocks. She also does not have the results to put ...
ESAM releases a tier list for version 7.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I think that ESAM's tier list is not based on the results for each character. His tier lists are mainly tied to theory craft, where he breaks down each character's strengths and weaknesses and predicts how well they can do against other characters in tournaments. It's not exactly how I would make a tier list myself, but I would rather have a tier list like this than one that is based only on results because ...

Some say that the 9.0.0 balance adjustments for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are the worst in the game's history but are they really that bad?
The Sonic and Ness buffs don't really bother me. The buffs just seem to slightly improve their lesser used moves. I can see why people may initially see these buffs as bad since Sonic and Ness are very strong online. However, it probably made little difference in their spots in the online meta and offline meta. Sonic is still High Tier to me, and Ness is still High-Mid Tier for me. Honestly, I look more ...
Less pancaking from Pikachu, reworks for Little Mac and online improvements would be great for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's 9.0 patch tomorrow
Here is what I am hoping for on a general scale: Reworks: Little Mac (fix almost everything) Luigi (fix his air speed) Ice Climbers (fix Nana's AI) Buffs: All Heavies except Bowser Kirby Isabelle Simon / Richter Byleth Meta Knight Nerfs: Pikachu Joker Palutena Zero Suit Samus Wario Shulk Maybe Nerfs: R.O.B. Snake Pac-Man Ness

Min Min and version 8.0.0 are now available in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, here are the patch notes
I am very happy that they finally buffed Falco, Marth, and Mewtwo. I also like the buffs given to Diddy Kong, Pit, Meta Knight, Isabelle, and some of the heavies. But now I wonder: will this patch be enough to reset the tier list again?
How strong will Min Min be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? A look back at previous DLC challengers could offer an answer
This makes the 3rd DLC fighter with a tether recovery. First Joker, then Byleth, and now Min Min. As far as how she'll do, I can't say for sure how she'll fair, but I would guess that she'll do about as well, maybe slightly better than Terry and Banjo.
Marth's reliance on tippers gives the impression of a way less consistent and weaker version of Lucina in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I do feel that Marth is not a bad character. I don't like to base a character's tier list spot on results alone. While Marth does have some of the worst results out of the whole roster, I do feel that he does have a good matchup chart, which, for me, helps keep him from being a low tier or even a mid tier. I feel that Marth is a low-high tier character since his ...
