SSBB with characters: [u'Donkey Kong', u'Olimar']
One of the Top 2 most difficult matchups for DK. Since Olimar does really well against characters that have trouble approaching him, this issue becomes extremely apparent with DK. Despite his well ranged moves, his large size in contrast to Olimar's makes it very easy for him to combo and wall DK out with Pikmin. Killing is heavily in Olimar's favor as well since he can just throw Pikmin all day while DK struggles to ...

SSBB with characters: [u'Ice Climbers', u'Mr. Game and Watch']
7/3. A majority of G&W's attacks can be very easily shielded by ICies and thus lead to a chaingrab. His grab and neutral game also gets completely shut down when both climbers are alive. Even when a G&W player is able to separate ICies, his throws are far too slow for him to rack up any reliable damage or otherwise KO them effectively. Even when danger doesn't seem likely, many usages of Up-B and running ...

Thanks! I enjoy your explanations on the matchups of Smash as well! :)

SSBB with characters: [u'Marth', u'Mr. Game and Watch']
Really bad match-up for G&W. Both of these characters are pretty well known for having disjointed hitboxes in their attacks and having good air games, the problem here is that most of G&W disjointed moves are very close to his hurtbox while the opposite can be said for Marth. The latter has all the aerial attacks that come out much quicker than G&W's air attacks, (infamously forward air) giving him the solid advantage in the ...

SSB4 with characters: [u'Ike', u'Kirby']
Ike for the most part outranges, and outkills Kirby. Kirby's very light and Ike's very heavy...yeah...6/4 I vote. But IMO, this is matchup is also close to 7/3...

SSB4 with characters: [u'Captain Falcon', u'Kirby']
I have not commented on any match-ups in a while. But anyway, due to Kirby's small size, he can can duck under a large portion of Captain Falcon's moves, and considering he doesn't have a projectile, he's forced to approach Kirby because of this. Falcon players are going to have to hope they don't whiff their attacks otherwise, they'll be experiencing heavy punishes by Kirby, and that doesn't help because of Falcon's fast falling speed. ...

SSB4 with characters: [u'King Dedede', u'Mega Man']
Mega Man's lemons and other projectiles overall make it an uncontrollable headache for King Dedede to approach him. Because of the lemons extremely high priority, they can easily counter Gordo Throw, and at close range, Dedede can hardly retaliate because of his slow speed. Lastly, up air is a very good move to keep him from landing safely due to his slow air speed. This matchup is 3/7 in my honest opinion.

SSB4 with characters: [u'Ganondorf', u'Pikachu']
Pikachu is way too fast and too small for Ganondorf to land a hit on. He can camp him out with his Neutral B, edgeguard him swiftly, and combos him like passing a football at your teammates. All Ganondorf can hope to do is take Pikachu's stock early and like you said, use his side B.

SSB4 with characters: [u'Ganondorf', u'Wario']
I'd say Wario wins slightly since his bike can give Ganondorf a bit of a hard time, and that he can set up some of his aerials on him. Of course, this matchup is drastically easier for Ganondorf now than in Brawl since Wario's air speed and acceleration were nerfed, and that he no longer has his down throw chaingrab. Plus the speed of his KO moves.

SSBB with characters: [u'Bowser', u'Wario']
Wario can chaingrab Bowser with his down throw from 0% all the way up to 200%. His fast aerials allow him to beat the koopa's slower aerials in the air, and he edgeguards him extremely hard because of those aerials. They both have good KO power in some of their moves, but Wario's better frame data allows him to beat Bowser in that regard. Bowser can take advantage of Wario's significant air release problem, and ...
