Banjo-Kazooie announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

We already had one new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate announcement earlier this morning for The Hero from the Dragon Quest series, but that's not all that Nintendo had up their sleeves for big reveals.

To close out their E3 Direct stream, Nintendo revealed that the long awaited Banjo and Kazooie would also be making their way to Smash Ultimate as DLC.

Dragon Quest's Hero revealed as the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

It's been almost two months already since we received Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but now we finally know who will be joining him as the second character in the game's Fighter Pass.

Nintendo revealed today during their E3 Direct stream that The Hero from Dragon Quest 11 will be joining Smash Ultimate as the next DLC fighter on the roster via a brand new trailer.

We knew SNK had something in store for Samurai Shodown at E3 2019, and we now know that it was a new character coming to the Season Pass.

This weekend, we saw a riveting top 8 in Dead or Alive 6 at Taipai Major, which was part of the Dead or Alive World Championship tour.

Shang Tsung Mortal Kombat 11 trailer released, Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn, and two more guest characters confirmed

The trailer for Shang Tsung, Mortal Kombat 11's first DLC character has been released. He'll be available for early access on June 18th.

The original Mortal Kombat boss is back and looks to be everything we wanted and more. Shang transforms into a younger version of himself to duke it out, but that's nowhere near where the transformations stop.

Janemba is Dragon Ball FighterZ's next DLC character

Dragon Ball FighterZ just saw the release of its latest DLC character yesterday. Kid Goku from the Dragon Ball GT series is now available for purchase, and in an interesting turn of events was released alone despite every DLC character before him being launched in pairs.

Fans have been wondering who that fourth and only unannounced DLC fighter of Season 2 is, but it looks like we now know the answer to that question — it's Janemba.

Mortal Kombat 11 review: Fighting games' goriest franchise continues to excel at what it's good at and makes progress where it traditionally hasn't

NetherRealm Studios have gotten big scale Mortal Kombat development down to a science, consistently upping antes, tightening loose ends, and moving in a somewhat predictable (a good thing) fashion. Mortal Kombat 11 kontinues this trend by building on the strengths of its widely successful predecessor while showing clear acknowledgement of previous shortcomings.

While not a perfect game, the latest MK installment absolutely delivers on expectations while taking appropriate risks. It achieves the fundamental goal of moving the MK train along nicely, but certainly adds a few new bells and whistles in the process.

Test your might: Here's Mortal Kombat 11's launch story trailer featuring the classic theme

Although we just got to see Shao Kahn and the Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 11 in action for the first time yesterday, we have another new trailer for the upcoming game on our hands.

Nintendo dropped quite the surprise on everyone last night by revealing Joker's gameplay and the contents of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Spring update with absolutely zero warning, and we won't need to wait too much longer to try it out for ourselves.

PlayStation 5 aims to drastically reduce load times and will be backwards compatible with PS4; first details about Sony's next-gen console emerge

Though the Xbox 360 may have been king of the fighting games during the last console generation for Capcom titles at least, Sony's PlayStation 4 took over that mantle in more recent years after obtaining a number of stand out exclusives like Street Fighter 5 and Guilty Gear Xrd.

The PS4 itself will be turning six years old in 2019, and while rumors about the next generation of games have been swirling, it appears we now have our first peek into what will be the upcoming PlayStation 5 — or whatever Sony decides to call its next console.

Wu-Ruixiang and Yashamaru Kurama revealed for Samurai Shodown; release date set for June 27th, 2019

Two new characters as well as a release date have been revealed for SNK's upcoming Samurai Showdown. Both Wu-Ruixiang and Yashamaru Kurama were shown for the first time during today's live stream presentation.

The trailer (included below) showed off all of the game's current fighters as each struck a pose before the two newcomers followed in suit. After said trailer aired, we got a release date of June 27th, 2019.

Cetrion the Elder God announced as new fighter for Mortal Kombat 11

Game Informer revealed that they have a month of exclusive features coming in April for Mortal Kombat 11, and they're kicking things off in a big way with a character reveal for a newcomer to the series.

Cetrion, one of the Elder Gods, has been revealed for MK11 with a new trailer showing off her earthly, largely plant-based powers in action.

Darli Dagger has been announced for Samurai Shodown. Even those familiar with previous Samurai Shodown titles won't recognize her as she is the title's first newcomer.

Not much is known about the character right now. We only got to see a still image of the fighter. No gameplay or backstory has been provided.

Dragon Ball FighterZ version 1.15 patch notes translated

Bandai Namco has released the Dragon Ball FighterZ version 1.15 patch notes. Included are numerous changes, with alterations made to every character on the roster.

The patch notes were released over on the official Japanese Dragon Ball FighterZ website and are entirely in Japanese. Thankfully, we have the full English translation here courtesy of our very own Nicholas "MajinTenshinhan" Taylor.

New Mortal Kombat 11 story trailer reveals Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao as playable characters

Earlier today during Sony's State of Play program, a new trailer was shown for Mortal Kombat 11. Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao were revealed as playable characters.

Notably, we also see Kitana in the trailer. Interestingly enough, the State of Play narrator only confirmed that Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao were newly revealed fighters for Mortal Kombat 11.
