Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy 15 announced for Tekken 7

At the Tekken World Tour Finals today, Harada had promised there would be an announcement.

Well, he delivered.

Right before the Top 8 of the tour's finals were set to start, we were treated to a trailer from Harada himself.

In this trailer, we got to see that none other than Noctis Lucis Caelum, the main character from Square-Enix's recent Final Fantasy 15, will be joining the cast of Tekken 7... Oh, and he's buddies with Lars.

He brings a Final Fantasy 15 stage along with him, and a bunch of flashy moves any Final Fantasy fan is sure to love. In the trailer, you can see him wield all of the royal weapons he has at his disposal in the original game, as well as magic in the form of Fire, Blizzard and Thunder, to boot.

Although the video shows some fishing action, it's probably safe to say this won't actually be part of your Tekken matches in the future.

Here's a bunch of images from the trailer.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Enchantress, and Atom join Injustice 2

At the Eleague Injustice 2 Finals tonight, the last two combatants of Fighter Pack 3 were revealed.

Joining the creative fighter Atom as the last DLC (that we currently know of) are Enchantress, and, shockingly enough, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Yes, all four.

Although details remain scarce at this time, the turtles do mention in the trailer "we fight together". Does this mean you use all four at once, or that they're similar to Mortal Kombat X's Triborg where you pick one before the battle? Time will tell.

Poor Enchantress gets pretty overshadowed in this trailer, but surely she makes DC Comics fans happy as well.

You can check some images from the trailer here.

X-Men and Fantastic Four rights might be headed to Disney - could we finally see these characters in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite?

According to CNBC, 21st Century Fox has been in talks with Disney to sell off most of its company. It wouldn't be all of Fox as they would keep their properties that are focused around news and sports.

It is noted that the two companies are not talking at this particular moment, but conversations about this has been ongoing for the last few weeks.

CNBC states that Fox is willing to engage in these talks as the senior management believes that their media attention is of immediate importance. This will allow the company to focus entirely on news and sports.

While it has been reported by Bloomberg that the talks are "dead," it is possible that the conversation could resume. It's still possible that this could happen.

This could mean that Disney would gain movie rights to X-Men and the Fantastic Four. If this should happen, then it would certainly be important for Disney to promote these characters and franchises.

Noel is a staple in the BlazBlue series. She mainly fights with two large handguns, but has larger weapons in her arsenal as well.

Also known as the "Spunky Dragon with Deadly Legs," Chie comes to BBCTB from Persona 4 Arena. As you might have guessed, her fighting style revolves around her kicks, and she also uses her Persona in battle to help her achieve victory.

Lastly, Waldstein comes to us from Under Night In-Birth. He is a towering fighter with large claws who scoops up the opponent and tosses them around the screen.

Captain Ginyu and Nappa revealed for Dragon Ball FighterZ in new V-Jump scan

Two of the more notable villainous faces from Dragon Ball have been confirmed to join the roster.

Although neither of them were the main villains of their arcs, it's hard to deny the lasting impact and iconic nature of both of these characters - the Saiyan warrior Nappa, and the leader of Frieza's eccentric special forces, Captain Ginyu.

The scan reveals that Nappa uses Saibamen, small warriors grown from seeds and perhaps best remembered as Yamcha's arch-enemies, within his moveset, as well as powerful blast moves to destroy his opponents entirely.

Captain Ginyu is perhaps best remembered for his strange Body Switch attack, used on Goku in the series, where he switches bodies with his opponent entirely. This technique is intact within the game, and will switch Ginyu's life bar and character with the opponent, so it's recommended for any potential Ginyu mains to brush up on your skills with other characters as well, just in case.

We can also see that Ginyu can call in Ginyu Force members in his moveset as well, specifically showing the gruesome Recoome coming in to assist his leader, which might throw a wrench into any hopes that Recoome himself would end up playable as well.

There have been reports that the game's Japanese release date has been solidified as February 1st, but we have yet to find any definitive source for this, so please take it with a grain of salt.

Continue below to see the scanned V-Jump page featuring these characters, and some more details on their strengths and weaknesses.

Zeku announced for Street Fighter 5

At South East Asia Major 2017 this weekend, Capcom delivered as promised.

The last character of Street Fighter 5's Season 2 is finally upon us, and as had been expected, it's Guy's former master, Zeku.

As the 38th successor of the Bushinryu School, he's a veteran combatant and a seasoned ninja warrior who helped forge Guy into the competent fighter he is today.

Although it's a bit hard to tell what exactly is going on, Zeku seems to have two different appearances he can shift between, one much younger than his regular one, and looking very Strider-esque.

It appears as though this newcomer may tag team with another member of his ninja clan while fighting, or perhaps he regains his youth somehow. Though it's early, this may suggest a multi-stance character not unlike Gen from Street Fighter 4, or Vega with or without his claw in SF5.

Zeku will be available for purchase on October 24th. Check out his image gallery here, which includes alternate costumes for both Zeku and his alter ego.

Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition announced, releases January 16th

Capcom announced Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition this morning, and confirmed its relase date for January 16th.

The brief trailer for this upcoming new version of the game boasts of all Season 1 and 2 DLC characters being included, Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode and an in-game Gallery being added, as well as new V-Triggers.

The V-Triggers are confirmed to be a second one added to each character, and being chosen pre-match, similar to how you would select Supers in Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike or Ultras in Ultra Street Fighter 4.

New V-Triggers are said to significantly alter the playstyle for each character. "You may need to relearn your main or perhaps try another character, which speaks to you in a different way due to their alternate abilities," according to today's Unity blog post.

As confirmed on Capcom-Unity, this will be a free update for anyone who already owns Street Fighter 5, although of course the DLC characters will not be added for free. The new disc can be bought for people who haven't taken the plunge yet for $39.99.

The update also boasts a brand new UI and color scheme for the game's menu portion.

Some images were shared over at Capcom-Unity and via Capcom's press site of how the game will look in this new update, which you can see here.

Black Panther and Sigma official Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite trailer released

The official Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite YouTube channel has just dropped a brand new trailer for the game. This time, we see series newcomers Black Panther and Sigma in action.

Panther joins the roster on the Marvel side, and Sigma comes from Capcom.

As expected, Black Panther is incredibly fast and appears to have a rushdown playstyle. He uses his claws to put a beat down on opponents, and has an incredibly fast air dash.

He can cling to walls, and quickly jump from one wall to the other giving him ways to escape bad situations and more opportunities to open up his opponent.

Sigma utilizes his laser sword a lot in battle. He has a standard projectile super, a counter teleport, and can open up dimensional rifts that linger on screen, making it difficult for his opponent to move.

We can expect to see both characters, as well as Monster Hunter, released on October 17th, 2017. Those who purchase the 2017 character pass will automatically receive all six DLC characters (when they become available), as well as their premium costumes. For those who don't, each character will cost $7.99 each, and will also come along with the premium costume.

Black Panther, Sigma, and Monster Hunter will be joined by Venom, Black Widow, and the Winter Soldier at a later date. The former three characters will be playable at New York Comic-Con 2017 this week.

Atom revealed for Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios just revealed their newest DLC character for Injustice 2: Atom.

This lesser known character from the DC universe has the ability to shrink down to subatomic size while still retaining super strength. This means he pack a huge punch despite being virtually undetectable.

He can also grow in size for some old fashioned smashing, giving him two very different ways of bringing the fight to his foes.

We've yet to get an official release date for Atom, though we expect more information on the newest reveal for the to come down the pike very soon.

For hardcore DC fans, this is the Ryan Choi iteration as opposed to the original Ray Palmer Atom. Beware, he not only fights his opponents physically, he uses puns too.

Here are a few stills to get you going. You'll find his full reveal trailer after the jump below.
