Team Samurai announced for The King of Fighters 15, Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan confirmed for Season 2

SNK promised to give fans a taste of what was coming for the future of The King of Fighters 15 this weekend, and they weren't lying.

Following the conclusion of their Evo 2022 grand finals, the developers announced Team Samurai Shodown is coming to KOF15 as the final DLC additions of Season 1 plus the confirmation that fan-favorites Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan are coming in Season 2.

Boss character Marie is Skullgirls 2nd Encore's next DLC fighter

The next character joining Skullgirls 2nd Encore is none other than the series' main antagonist, Marie. This new playable fighter was revealed during the Evo 2022 Skullgirls competition.

A teaser trailer was shown after the special exhibition that features a silhouette shot of Peacock helping Marie off the ground. At the end of the quick trailer, we see "Marie Coming Soon" strewn across the screen in big letters.

Tasty Steve and James Chen revealed as in-game commentators for Street Fighter 6

Capcom just revealed two new in-game commentators who will be featured in Street Fighter 6: Steve "Tasty Steve" Scott and James Chen.

These two will join fellow English speaking commentator Jeremy "Vicious" Lopez as well as the game's Japanese commentator, Aru. Check out the reveal trailer below.

Guilty Gear Strive's first Season 2 DLC character scheduled for summer 2022 launch, content road map released

Fans have been waiting for news on Season 2 of Guilty Gear Strive for some time now, and today during Arc System Works' special Evo 2022 panel, new details were finally divulged.

At the Past, Present, and Future of the Guilty Gear Series presentation, the development team shared a content road map for Season 2 to let fans know what to expect and when. We learned that the first S2 DLC character is scheduled for release sometime in Summer 2022, that there will be four new DLC fighters in total, a new balance patch is in the works, and more.

Dragon Ball FighterZ version 1.31 patch notes, Lab Coat Android 21 nerfed

As previously promised, patch 1.31 for Dragon Ball FighterZ is releasing "around July." According to Bandai Namco Esports, version 1.31 is releasing tomorrow, June 29.

This probably shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, but Lab Coat Android 21 is receiving a fair share of nerfs in the scheduled patch. Luckily for fans of other characters, the patch is doing more than just nerfing Lab Coat Android 21.

Like any good video game company with a long legacy of top notch games, Capcom has put out numerous compilations celebrating some of the best titles in their library. The longtime developer is gearing up to add another assemblage to their repertoire later this week with Capcom Fighting Collection — a gathering of 10 classic games all rolled up into one package with a single price tag.

It's been announced that a new character for Street Fighter 6 is slated to be revealed tomorrow during the Summer Game Fest. Streaming will begin at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET.

As of right now, the only characters that have been officially revealed for Street Fighter 6 are Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke and Jamie. However, Capcom snuck in a sneaky reveal of Kimberly for those that were paying attention to the last trailer.

Guilty Gear Strive version 1.18 patch notes

Version 1.18 for Guilty Gear Strive is slated to go live on June 10, 2022. In preparation for this, Arc System Works has released patch notes for the upcoming update.

Taz, Iron Giant, Velma revealed for MultiVersus via new Cinematic Trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive hit fans with a brand new official cinematic trailer for MulitVersus today, and in addition to showing off a very intriguing series of scenes that we're hoping are characteristic of its potential story mode, it reveals three new roster members.

Taz from Looney Tunes, Velma from Scooby Doo, and The Iron Giant from the film in which he shares a name are all joining the game's roster, bringing the running total to 16.
