Soul Calibur 6 Version 2.00 patch notes released

Yesterday, Bandai Namco revealed that Soul Calibur 6's second season of content would be dropping next week on November 25, and now we can see the massive amount of changes the developers will be making for the fighting game for its second year.

The publisher / developer has released the full and expansive Version 2.00 patch notes for Soul Calibur 6 including new moves for every character, brand new mechanics, balance changes for days and a rework of the Reversal Edge system.

Here's footage of Ryu, Ken, and Gill using second V-Skills in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

We got some incredibly exciting news just last night at the Capcom Pro Tour North American Regional Finals when Yoshinori Ono revealed that new secondary V-Skills are en route to Street Fighter 5 as part of the new Champion Edition update.

We'll need to wait until next month before we'll get this new update at home, (there will be a playable build for those attending Capcom Cup in December) but Capcom has shared some footage of Ryu, Ken, and the upcoming Gill using their second V-Skills.

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition announced

At the North American Regional Finals on the Capcom Pro Tour, Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition was announced. It will be released on February 14, 2020, and pre-orders are set to open up at any time.

This game will have new V-Skills for the entire cast, and will round up a bunch of the game's content into one package.

Gill announced for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

At the conclusion of the Capcom Pro Tour 2019 North American Regional Finals, a brand new character for "Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition" was revealed. Rejoice Gill fans, he has been announced as the next DLC fighter for Season 4.

Indeed, they're making the boss from Street Fighter 3 a playable character. More than likely, he'll (hopefully) be more balanced with the rest of the cast.

Faust teased for 'Guilty Gear Strive'

Faust has been teased for the upcoming Guilty Gear game that will be releasing in late 2020. The title of the game was also revealed to be "Guilty Gear Strive."

Update: Monster Hunter Nergigagnte costume for Blanka announced for Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition

Update: Street Fighter's Japanese social media shared out a second image of Blanka's Nergigante costume showing what the dragon looks like covered in electricity which you can check out in the gallery.

Capcom has been tapping into some of their older and most iconic characters to bring in as crossover costumes for Street Fighter 5, but it's an especially rare day when the outfit is that of a monster and not a person.

Today, the company revealed Blanka's first crossover Extra Battle costume in SF5, and it is that of the giant dragon Nergigante from the Monster Hunter series.

After days and weeks of teasing images, clips and other brief glimpses, the day is finally upon us where we can see our undead queen in action for Mortal Kombat 11.

NetherRealm Studios released a new gameplay trailer for MK11's next DLC character in Sindel, so we can see how the queen of scream fights and takes apart her foes after missing a game.

New holiday-themed costumes coming for G, Poison and Lucia in Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition along with a snowy Metro City stage

Seasonal costumes have become a staple in Street Fighter 5 since it launched as well as other recent fighting games, and that will be continuing into this year as well with some nice new additions.

Capcom announced today that new holiday-themed costumes will be coming to SF5 for Poison, Lucia and G via a new trailer along with a new snowy version of Metro City.

Super Broly trailer released for Dragon Ball FighterZ

Following the conclusion of the hype top 8 over at the Red Bull Spain Saga, Bandai Namco finally showed off the gameplay trailer for Broly (DBS) in Dragon Ball FighterZ as the final character coming to Season Pass 2.

The new version of Broly appears to be even more of a brawler than his original counterpart slamming Gogeta back and forth across the floor and chasing him down wherever he tries to hide away.

Report: Echo Fox has been disbanded, player and staff status is currently unknown

After tumultuous 2018 and 2019 seasons, eSports team Echo Fox is reportedly no more. The status of their players and staff members is currently up in the air.

There's been no confirmation by an official spokesman yet, but losing their League of Legends Championship Series slot may have been the final nail in the coffin of this once massive team.

Capcom aims to 'lock down' new Street Fighter 5 content for much of 2020 after November and December announcements says Yoshinori Ono

Street Fighter 5 has been out in the wild for almost four whole years now while receiving steady streams of new characters and updates, but that may be slowing down in the coming year according to the series' executive producer.

Yoshinori Ono recently sat down with the folks at Eurogamer to discuss where Street Fighter 5 stands right now and where it will end up in the future. The Intel World Open is shaping up to be a big endeavor for the team next year though it apparently also means SF5 won't see any big updates or additional releases for much of 2020.

Here are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Version 6.0.0 update patch notes

As is pretty much always the case when a new character drops for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a brand new updated version of the game is also launched bumping that in-game number even higher to signify big changes.

The Version 6.0.0 update is now available to download for Smash Ultimate alongside the new fighter Terry Bogard, and Nintendo has already released the full list of patch notes including some nice buffs for characters in need.

Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition announced as EVO Japan 2020 mainstage title

Street Fighter and EVO have gone hand in hand since the latter's inception, so it'd be day of great historical impact if at least one Capcom title did not show up as a headliner for their events.

With that said, the organizers for EVO Japan 2020 announced today Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition will be among the mainstage titles for the third year in a row joining five other previously revealed games.

Chipp Zanuff and Potemkin revealed for Guilty Gear 2020 game

Chipp Zanuff and Potemkin have been revealed for the Guilty Gear 2020 game. They make up the final two characters that will be available in the upcoming Guilty Gear demo.

Chipp is both a ninja and the president of the Eastern Chipp "Kingdom." He tends to be a speedy fighter with low defense, so it's important to overwhelm the opponent with his offense before he falls.

As for Potemkin, he's the signature grappler of the series. Although he may have difficulty getting in, he hits like a truck as you might expect.
