BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Version 2.0 adds Senran Kagura and Akatsuki Blitzkampf characters plus more fighters and features, launching in November

Following the conclusion of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle's top 8 at EVO 2019, Arc System Works revealed that a brand new version of the fighting game will be dropping later this year.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle The 'Next' Version 2.0 will be adding nine new fighters while including two more fates from Senran Kagura and Akatsuki Blitzkampf. Four of them were shown off in the new trailer.

Janemba officially revealed for Dragon Ball FighterZ, available August 8

ArcSys has officially unveiled Janemba as a DLC fighter in Dragon Ball FighterZ. This announcement came after the grand finals of Dragon Ball FighterZ at EVO 2019.

We previously knew this character was coming as Microsoft and Nintendo had previously mentioned that this character was coming to the game as part of the second season pass.

Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[cl-r] with new character Londrekia coming early 2020

At the conclusion of the grand finals of the Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[st] at EVO 2019, the newest version of the game was announced. Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[cl-r] is slated for an early 2020 release.

A new character, Londrekia, is the first new character announced for the new version. Londrekia is also referred to as "the White Knight of the End" and the "Frozen Fang of Eternity" in the trailer.

Valve admits the big Street Fighter 5 character leak on Steam was their mistake

After more than seven months of mostly silence on the part of Capcom as to what the future held for Street Fighter 5 following Capcom Cup 2018, E. Honda, Poison and Lucia's reveals appeared to leak early ahead of their scheduled EVO 2019 announcement.

The trio of characters' information popped up on Street Fighter 5's Steam store page which Valve has now taken responsibility for as an error on their part in an official statement made to the game's forum page.

Riot Games is creating a fighting game, plans revealed at EVO 2019

A brand new fighting game from Riot, the creators of League of Legends, has been officially confirmed by Tom Cannon at EVO 2019.

"Back in 2016 when we joined forces with Riot I said that we were going to go in the hole for a while. I want to be able to let people in on maybe the worst kept secret in the universe which is that I can confirm we are working on a fighting game for Riot," Cannon said on Friday during an EVO stream.

There's still more hiding in Blanka's pocket: Yoshinori Ono confirms that more Street Fighter 5 content is in development following character leaks

What would have likely been one of the biggest reveals of EVO 2019 in the announcement of E. Honda, Poison and Lucia leaked last night for Street Fighter 5 which appears to have made Capcom pivot quickly on their feet despite their understandable disappointment.

Yoshinori Ono announced following the release of the official character trailers that he will be missing out on EVO finals this weekend, but left us with the confirmation that Street Fighter 5 still has more on the way.

E. Honda, Lucia and Poison DLC pricing and Summer 2019 Character Bundle information revealed for Street Fighter 5; Vergil costume coming for Cody

Through last night's big leak, we learned that Street Fighter 5 will be adding three new characters after EVO 2019 finals on August 4, but now we have more concrete details as to how players can acquire them in game.

Capcom has announced the official release information and pricing for E. Honda, Poison and Lucia including how they'll be priced separately and how they will appear in the new Summer 2019 Character Bundle. Plus, the company also revealed which Extra Battle costume will be following Ibuki's Onimusha attire.

Update: Official move listings and character breakdowns released for E. Honda, Poison and Lucia in Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition

Update: The Capcom Unity blog has included more details about the new world warriors' move sets which we've included after the jump alongside the previous information

Three new characters will be joining the roster of Street Fighter 5 after EVO 2019 finals on Sunday, August 4, in E. Honda, Poison and Lucia, but it looks as though we won't need to wait any longer to see all of what the fighters have to offer for move sets.

Capcom has released the official character breakdowns and full move listings for the trio of new fighters via their Shadaloo Combat Research Institute website including some very familiar attacks plus some brand new.

Nightwolf gameplay trailer released for Mortal Kombat 11 launching for Kombat Pack owners August 13

After a few months of waiting and many teasers, NetherRealm Studios has finally released the full gameplay trailer for the next DLC character coming to Mortal Kombat 11 in the spiritual fighter of Nightwolf.

Nightwolf appears to have many of his signature moves and specials in tact for his big return alongside some new weaponry added to his arsenal including the ability to wield the powers of lightning.

E. Honda, Poison and Lucia officially revealed for Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition ahead of EVO 2019

Updated: After E. Honda, Poison and Lucia were leaked in advance of their announcement at EVO 2019, Capcom put out an official tweet and video confirming these characters were coming to the game on August 4, 2019.

Each character will be offered individually on the 4th, and then a Summer 2019 Character Bundle will be available on August 5, 2019, which includes all three new combatants, along with their battle costumes and default colors 3-10.

Dragon Quest's Hero launches later today, July 30, in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate alongside new Mii Fighter costumes and stage

The wait for Dragon Quest Hero's launch in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is going to be even shorter than we thought given that he'll be coming out later today.

During the new fighter's breakdown, Smash creator and director Masahiro Sakurai revealed that Challenger Pack 2: Hero will be available to download July 30 instead of the previously reported July 31.

New information on Dragon Quest's Hero in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate possibly coming this week judging by Nintendo France's recent tease

It's been almost exactly a month since Nintendo revealed that Dragon Quest's Hero and Banjo-Kazooie would be making their way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as DLC, but we might finally have our first clue as to when some new information will be dropped for the next fighter.

The Hero had been given a general Summer 2019 release window at the event though Nintendo France appears to be teasing that new footage and possibly a release date could very well be coming later this week.

First look at DLC character Sindel in Mortal Kombat 11 revealed

Mortal Kombat 11 is expecting five more DLC characters coming along with its Kombat Pack. We currently know the identities of three out of those five, but we have yet to see what they'll look like in-game.

Early footage of Project Battle, an all-new card game from Capcom, looks absolutely amazing

Capcom has an all-new playing card game, currently known as Project Battle, on the horizon and has sent a demo of it to Maximilian to help get the word out.

In a video featuring about 10 minutes of in-game footage, Max plays through a few matches, peruses a few menus, and scans through the character select screen. A few notable faces we see include Ryu, Morrigan, Albert Wesker, Zero, Chris Redfield, Mega-Man, Chun-Li, Dante, and Rathalos.

Katsuhiro Harada states that there are no plans for new characters in Tekken 7 right now following Steam Database update

Steam Database updates have generally given us a fairly accurate idea of when new DLC was on the way for games like Tekken 7 and Dragon Ball FighterZ though its latest change may not be the case according to the head honcho of Tekken himself.

Katsuhiro Harada, the longtime director and producer of the Tekken series, responded to our report from the past weekend that new DLC may be coming soon by stating that there were plans for 'commemorative' content though nothing on the front for characters.

SNK reveals all 4 new fighters coming to Samurai Shodown's Season Pass including Rimururu, Basara, Kazuki Kazama and Wan-Fu

Today is June 25 which means that Samurai Shodown's official launch date is upon us, and it appears as though SNK wants us all to know what's coming to the game post-release right now.
