Our favorite fighting games revolve around battle-hardened warriors using a multitude of different attacks and techniques to knock out their opponents. Much of what we see in series like Street Fighter, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat is derived from actual martial arts, but how do they actually stack up to the real thing?

A new video from Gamology brings in two legitimate martial artists to react to maneuvers found in Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11, and Street Fighter 5.

Katsuhiro Harada has considered making a Tekken collection but wonders if fans really 'need' it

Collection-style games are not uncommon in this day and age. Companies have been known to go back and gather up several installments of various titles, repackage them — often with new features — and release them so that a modern audience can experience classic games from days past.

In the fighting game world, we've seen exactly this from companies like Capcom and their Street Fighter collections, but did you know that such a collection was also considered for Tekken? Series Director Katsuhiro Harada said that he considered making a Tekken collection several times, actually, but wonders if fans really "need" it.

Katsuhiro Harada knows how to drop a beat in this fan-made rap remix called Shut Up, Don't Ask For S*** and even the director himself loves it

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 may have featured the one and only Snoop Dogg, but the series has its true boss in director Katsuhiro Harada, who can also apparently lay down some bars with the help of a fan turned music producer.

During his stage entrance at the Tekken World Tour Finals this past weekend, Harada hit us all with some more memorable lines as he prepared to dish out the new character announcements telling everyone to "shut up, shut up, shut up and sit the hell down" followed by his signature tag line of "don't ask me for s***."

Fighting game fan, music producer and remixer Natsu Fuji liked those lines so much that he made Harada his own rap song fittingly titled 'Shut Up (Don't Ask For S***)' in a short clip form. The longtime Tekken director caught wind of the mix and requested a full version — which Natsu then delivered.
