Hilarious Terry Bogard and Bayonetta interaction leads to an inexplicable time warp glitch in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

"During today's stream, I found that Terry can erase time and leap past it." TSM|Leffen's description of his uploaded clip is about the only way to explain what happened.

... Let's try to break down what happened in this Terry Bogard vs. Bayonetta interaction anyhow.

A missed Rest, an 'Oomph' Critical Strike, and a Jigglypuff at 0% apparently leads to a very salty HungryBox in this Super Smash Bros. Ultimate clip

"There's no way I'm dead." These were the last words that Liquid|HungryBox said before walking away from his stream. The game that he was playing wasn't even finished yet.

If you guessed that HungryBox was facing off against a Hero player, then you'd be right. This character most certainly has this type of effect on people.

Insane Jigglypuff and Pit doubles combo in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate serves as a 0-to-death against both opponents

Doubles matches — 2v2 — have always been interesting in the Super Smash Bros. series. The viability of a character's performance in 1v1 is less important than the synergy that they have with a partner.

Jigglypuff and Pit are two combatants in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that have been fairly underwhelming on their own in the competitive scene. However, as proven by RaZe and Alpal, these two work extremely well together and can produce devastating team combos.

Terry's Power Geyser and Buster Wolf have pretty absurd hitboxes in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate but Rekzius shows that the character is overall tame

Terry Bogard was the last character to be released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The community has already developed a strong understanding of this character's overall potential. This comes from advanced knowledge such as frame data, hitboxes, and KO percentages.

Recently, Rekzius released a video that visualized all of Terry's hitboxes. Much to Rekzius' surprise, the character is overall fairly tame in terms of the size of the hitboxes shown, but there are still a few absurd ones that definitely need to be highlighted.

Terry Bogard plus about 15 portals make for one of the zaniest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate action sequences we've seen

There's a scene in Dragon Ball Z wherein a young, in training Gohan simply can't get his eyes to catch up with the action as two other fighters zip around in combat, seemingly traveling faster than the speed of light.

That scene was the first thing that popped into my head while watching this high octane sequence in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as newcomer Terry Bogard smacks Ken Masters through about 16 different dimensions before knocking him out with a fireworks finish.

Be aware of Joker's Rebellion Gauge when comboing him off stage or the tables will turn on you like in this Super Smash Bros. Ultimate clip

Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is very often looked at as possibly the best character in the game. A big reason for this is Joker's Persona mechanic. Once his Rebellion Gauge is full, Arsene is summoned to supplement the power of Joker's attacks and abilities.

It is extremely important to keep an eye on the opponent's Rebellion Gauge as you rack up damage. A clip uploaded by Abigail really demonstrates to us why you want to be extra cautious of this meter when carrying Joker off stage with your combos. Even if you have less than 25% damage accrued, there is quite a bit of risk involved here.

That's not just an epic Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Waluigi meme — it's a fan-created stage

Fans continue to populate Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's shared content section with a myriad of interesting creations. After it was noted that Fatal Fury's own Mai Shiranui was left out of Terry Bogard's stage because she wasn't kid-friendly enough, the community went ahead and made her a part of Smash Ultimate by generating several stages designed to look like her and sharing them online.

While perusing through the "popular" section of the game's created stages recently, I stumbled onto a battlefield that caused me to do a double-take. One creative fan constructed a stage featuring Waluigi in a popular Spongebob Squarepants meme, and you might have to look closely to even realize that it's a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate arena.

We've seen a lot of supposed leaks claim to know who the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character will be — how likely does each candidate seem?

As is always the case with the Super Smash Bros. series, we've seen a lot of alleged leaks telling us who the next characters will be. The big difference with Ultimate is that the wild rollercoaster hasn't stopped after the game's initial release, due the DLC that's been coming to the game ever since.

There are some names that keep coming up over and over again in connection with said "leaks", and others that have been part of somewhat accurate ones that haven't quite been debunked yet. Obviously, there's room for a ton of speculation for any characters being added to Smash, but we decided to focus on five characters who fit in to these areas, where they're subjects of discussion for various reasons or have some sort of basis that we haven't been able to shake as of right now. Joining me in this endeavor is Justin "AdaptiveTrigger" Gordon, so continue along and see our judgment calls on these potential newcomers.

'An ode to low tiers' — GimR's video highlights hilariously weak interactions from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's roster

If you play characters that are as gifted as Snake, Joker, Peach, Wolf, or other top tiers, then you probably wouldn't be able to fully appreciate the struggles of the low tiers in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. A lot of these characters go through some rather frustrating scenarios at times.

VGBC|GimR recently released a video titled "An Ode To Low Tiers" which highlights these very struggles. Despite the title, many characters in low tier, mid tier, and a few high tiers have their troubles showcased in the upload.

Breath of the Wild Link's bomb drop loops can lead to insane damage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and this is only the beginning

Link in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is generally seen as being a fairly average character, but he doesn't often see much representation at tournaments. In our community voted tier list, Link is currently ranked at the 32nd position.

Having said all that, is it possible that this character has some hidden juice that has the potential to skyrocket him up the tier lists? FURY|RaZe recently posted a clip of some Link shenanigans that might have that effect if a certain strategy is mastered.

Terry Bogard's Rising Tackle is the first traditional fighting game charge special in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, GimR details its advanced tricks

VGBC|GimR has clearly been spending some time labbing Terry Bogard in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate since his release. Like Ryu and Ken, Terry has some unique mechanics that has him feeling like a more traditional fighting game character.

Although this is something that does exist in the Street Fighter series, charge specials are completely alien to Ryu and Ken. Terry Bogard, on the other hand, is capable of improving the overall utility of his up special, the Rising Tackle, by charging down first.

There are a number of intricate details regarding Terry's Rising Tackle that only a true lab monster can uncover. Needless to say, GimR has released a video that sums up his findings.
