Avengers villain Ultron proved to be one of the strongest and most fun new additions to the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite roster, and now players can take his robotic supremecy to the next level in the game's predecessor.

Always talented modder Tabs recently released an impressive new mod for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that adds Ultron to the roster, who appears quite at home with his crazy combos and drone assists intact.

Monster Hunter added to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 via the Palette Swap Character mod

Rashid, Evil Ryu, Shadow Lady, Ken, Lilth, Orange Hulk, Scarlet Spider, All New Wolverine, S.T.A.R.S. Wesker, Red She-Hulk, Phoenix & Maya, Captain Marvel, MvC2 Sentinel, Shin Akuma, S.T.A.R.S. Chris, Cyclops, Jean Grey, DMC1 Dante, Thanos and Psylocke have all been made playable in Tabs' Palette Swap Characters mod for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

An update to the Palette Swap Characters mod has added the Monster Hunter to the roster. As expected, Monster Hunter plays very similarly to how she does in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Street Fighter 5 and Marvel vs. Capcom continue to sell as Capcom sets company financial records

Street Fighter 5 has been something of a 6-year rollercoaster at this point with the fighting game community experiencing some major peaks and valleys across that span of time, but the game is overall in a good place now and continues to sell.

Capcom recently updated their Platinum Titles list of all-time best selling games up to the end of 2021, which revealed that Street Fighter 5 and Marvel vs. Capcom titles continue to move up the ranks, as the company as a whole posted record profits to close out the year.

The comedic rabbit hole that is trying to discover why Mega Man X's Buster goes through Dr. Strange's legs in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

After literal decades of being snubbed, Mega Man X finally got to be a hyper fighter in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Unfortunately for him, however, the game wasn't supported long enough to see how high he could fly.

Speaking of being airborne, Marvel player SCMike recently released an entertaining short that is the comedic rabbit hole of trying to figure out why X's Buster shot just completely misses Dr. Strange.

Fan creates proof of concept character select screen for Marvel vs. Capcom 4 featuring new fighters for both sides

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite ended up being a disappointing flop for fans of the series. Despite this, many are still clamoring for either another attempt at a sequel for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 or a re-release for Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

One fan recently decided to create a mockup of what a character select screen could look like for a theoretical Marvel vs. Capcom 4. Do keep in mind that the character select screen is very small and only features newcomers (and Gambit), so this mostly just works as a proof of concept.

Marvel could potentially lose the rights to Spider-Man and Avengers characters if they don't stave off copyright termination

The fate of vastly popular Marvel Comics characters such as Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, and more could be dire for the long-running comic book company should they lose in court. Heirs to legendary comic creators are attempting to acquire the rights to several of these popular heroes and villains, and if they succeed, Disney will be forced to share ownership of major players under their umbrella.

In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, details emerged about several notices of copyright termination filed against Marvel that aim to release big-name characters to the families of their original creators.
