Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roundup featuring crazy Dormammu combos, an interactive Vergil guide, Arthur guide and combo videos for Ryu and Tron

There's been some strong Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 content popping up lately, and to start you off we have a Dormammu combo video that might not be the most practical stuff you've ever seen, but it's certainly flashy enough to leave an impression, with two combos in it surpassing the 3 million mark (and one of them without even using X-Factor). While this is of course nothing you can use in a regular match since it's more than enough to kill the toughest character in the game twice, it shows just how limitless the potential inherent in Dormammu's moveset is. This video comes from lush redcalx.

Hit the jump to check out an interactive Vergil guide clocking it at almost one hour, as well as a guide for the very much underused Arthur, and combo videos for the similarly underused Ryu and Tron Bonne.

Empire Arcadia returning donated money after securing funds for their team to attend EVO 2013

Empire Arcadia returning donated money after securing funds for their team to attend EVO 2013 Empire Arcadia's TriForce was on the Inside The Community podcast, where he addressed a number of subjects the community has called him out for, most notably, being unable able to send Dieminion to EVO 2013.

EMP's Kevin "Dieminion" Landon recently asked the community for donations so that he could attend EVO 2013. After about 6 hours, he had amassed over $1,500 in funds, but now he and Empire Arcadia are working to get that money back in the hands of people who donated it, as TriForce has secured funds to get members of his team out to the event.

TriForce explained on the show that a third party sponsor check was supposed to be written to setup Empire Arcadia members so they could attend VxG and Evolution, but the check was delayed for an unknown reason. Very recently, things turned around, and that problem was averted, and as such they didn't feel it was right to use the money the community donated, and will return all of it.

This is a very in-depth piece which covers a ton of questions the community has had about Empire Arcadia, the donation scenario and quite a bit more. You can hit the jump to check out an embed of the show.

Dios X: I beat ChrisG before he was crazy good but he is clearly the better player now, I'm fairly confident my team can handle his intense zoning

Dios X: I beat ChrisG before he was crazy good but he is clearly the better player now, I'm fairly confident my team can handle his intense zoning The Traveling Circus recently sat down with Curleh Mustache West Coast 2 champion, Ernesto “Denial|Dios X” Ojeda, for an informative interview. The chat occurred before Dios X's 1st place win at the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 invitational event last night and the topics discussed here include the upcoming Killer Instinct game, next-gen consoles, the current state of UMvC3 and more.

TTC mentioned that many people have claimed Ultimate Marvel as deceased due to AGE|NYChrisG's complete dominance in competitive play. Having beaten ChrisG in tournament before, Dios X shared his thoughts on both players' skill levels and expressed whether he thinks he could defeat ChrisG once again.

I have seen a lot of posts saying that Marvel is dead. Although I think its just the stream monsters being tired of seeing Chris G win. The mentality was a lot like that during the older days of MvC2 when nobody could beat Justin Wong in a tournament and as soon as it was Grand Finals, if Justin was in Grand Finals and he wasn't going up against someone like Soo or Sanford, people were already walking out the door knowing Justin already won. Evo 2k4 was just like this, nobody stayed to watch.

ShadyK joins Filipino Champ as a member of team CompLexity's fighting game division

ShadyK joins Filipino Champ as a member of team CompLexity's fighting game division Long "ShadyK" Tran has joined Ryan "Filipino Champ" Ramirez as a member of CompLexity. Tran will be added to the team as a media manager for their fighting game division, although he's perhaps best known from pioneering many techniques and abusive strategies across multiple titles.

Filipino Champ referred to him as a 'sensei', because of his roles as a coach and training partner. ShadyK counts finishing top 8 in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 at EVO 2003 and top 5 in Street Fighter 4 at EVO 2009 among his achievements. In regards to what his goal will be in the future, he had this to say:

ShadyK: My goal going forward is pretty simple; to follow, grow, and learn more about Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. The game is still young and expanding as far as strategies and knowledge goes and I just need to be on top of things. As a Media Manager and player for compLexity, it'll be my responsibility to stay on top of my game, sharing what I know with the team, all while creating quality media content for the public.

ShadyK added that he'll be traveling to tournaments with his roommate, Filipino Champ, which he feels will make them stronger at events. The duo will be able to coach each other and help strategize during tournaments.
