Ultra Instinct Goku's first magazine scan appears online for Dragon Ball FighterZ

It seems as though we finally have our confirmation that Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 is indeed happening, and it'll kick off with another playable version of Goku among the first new DLC fighters.

Ultra Instinct Goku's inclusion had been reported a few days ago, but now we have visual confirmation of what the transformed hero's look will be in DBFZ with the one-page scan of the latest V-Jump magazine in Japan revealing the character and also acknowledging how many Gokus there are.

Ultra Instinct Goku reportedly coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ as a playable DLC character

It's been a while since we've had any new information on the Dragon Ball FighterZ front. Rumors of a third season have made up the majority of the rumblings in recent months, but it looks like we now might have gotten our first nugget of what's to come.

Ryokutya2089 reports that Dragon Ball Super's Ultra Instinct Goku is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ as a playable DLC character. It's worth pointing out that Ryokutya2089's track record is very strong in terms of accurately sharing details about the game, however, their most recent post does not cite where the information came from.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Unsolved Mysteries: Z Stamps appear to actually clue us in to what to likely expect for Season 3 shows Rooflemonger

No one knows for sure that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be receiving a third season of content this year, but all signs within the game seem to be pointing towards almost certainty.

Apparently, on top of the other evidence, there's been a bit of a conspiracy theory floating around the DBFZ community that has gained some more traction recently tied to the number of Z Stamps in the game — or more importantly which ones are missing.

Fighting game Content creator Rooflemonger released a video this morning going over the Z Stamp theory and how many characters he feels it means we're likely to see in Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3.

Leroy, Liu Kang, Snake, and Kid Goku were the most popular fighters for Tekken 7, MK11, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and DBFZ at KiT 2020

Kumite in Tennessee 2020 is hosting tournaments for Street Fighter 5 (Season 5), Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and more this weekend. We've already covered character usage stats for Street Fighter 5, and now it's time for the other titles.

Tekken 7 ended up having the most entrants with 160 registered. Mortal Kombat 11 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ended up having over 100 each as well. As a result, we've got the top 32 character stats for Tekken 7, and the top 16 stats for the other three mentioned titles.

Where does our community-voted Dragon Ball FighterZ tier list sit here at the end of 2019?

We've already reviewed our 2019 community-voted tier lists for Street Fighter 5, Mortal Kombat 11, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It should come as no surprise that we have an analysis for our Dragon Ball Fighterz tiers section too.

At the very end of Season 2, we see that there are currently 38 characters that are playable in the game. This means that there are 703 different match ups that our viewers are able to vote on right now.

Red Bull Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals set for February 8 - 9 in Paris

The second year of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour major tournament circuit is coming to a close, and we now have a date and location for the finale. Bandai Namco announced this morning that the Red Bull DragonBall Fighterz World Tour Finals will be taking place on February 8 - 9, 2020, in Paris, France.

Players from all over the globe will be congregating at the Pavillon Baltard to witness the world's best players throw down for the title.
