If you somehow didn't know, Click Burgundy's fighting game artwork is the toppest of tiers

Click Burgundy is a Japanese artist we've featured a number of times on EventHubs already because of their godlike fighting game art, and their work continues to be amazing.

We've collected a dozen more pieces from Click Burgundy's recent collections where they seem to have been pretty excited about the EVO and EVO Japan line ups plus some other recent fighting game announcements like Videl in Dragon Ball FighterZ — and I guess we know which side of the pigtails vs. short hair debate they fall on.

Dead or Alive 6's cut scene visuals are absolutely top tier, check out 20 minutes of story mode footage right here

The fighting game community has spent the majority of their recent Dead or Alive 6 discussions talking about the now infamous "core values" EVO Japan incident, but regardless of how you feel on that matter, you have to admit the game looks absolutely brilliant.

Modern times have seen quite the critiques from fans on fighting games in general as King of Fighters 14 was put through the ringer after its initial presentation, some of Street Fighter 5's character designs continue to haunt it to this day, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's failure was partially due to reactions to character faces, and Jump Force's cut scenes have been getting torn apart.

Dead or Alive 6 has not been without controversy, (namely for its trademark overt sexualization) but at least the issue here concerns content instead of execution.

Most of us will have to wait for the game's March 1st release date, but GameSpot has come out with a video sharing the first 20 minutes of DOA6's story mode footage with us.

We would expect about as much from a franchise that has long boasted visuals as a key part of its identity, and are happy to be able to report that the developers at Team Ninja knocked it out of the park this time around.

Here are a handful of screen shots from various scenes, and you'll find the full video after the jump below.
