Dana White is close to securing a private island to host Ultimate Fighting Champion... and it feels all too familiar for fighting game fans

What a strange year 2020 is turning out to be. Because of the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), many events within and outside the FGC are being canceled for the sake of public health.

It goes without saying that physical sports are among those that are taking a hit as a result. The Ultimate Fighting Championship is a prime example of a celebrated event that is unable to take place as a gathering of too many people at one place would prove to be too risky.

According to TMZ, Dana White, president of the UFC, is incredibly close to securing a deal that would allow the organization to host matches on a private island. This is a theme that sounds far too familiar to fighting game fans...

Team Ninja issues statement concerning new Dead or Alive 6 customization feature, working toward solution for coming days

Things are currently moving and shaking for Dead or Alive 6 players as Team Ninja has been rolling out new content for the game's fourth season, but a relatively small piece of the puzzle has been getting the lion's share of the attention in a not-so-positive light.

The version 1.20 update for DOA6 brought with it the option to use Premium Tickets (which can only be obtained by spending real-world currency) to change characters' hair color. As our own DarkHorse aptly put it, however, "these purchases essentially equate to purchasing real hair dye," as said customizations follow a one-time use rule.
