JAK puts together 'most accurate' Street Fighter 6 tier list but it's not about character strength
Tier lists attempt to take something subjective and turn it into a quantifiable, so they're not really supposed to be true or false.
That being said, however, Moist|JAK (previously known as Justakid) put together what he calls the "most accurate" tier list for Street Fighter 6 though it's not about character strength.
Instead, it's a ranking of each individual character theme in the game, which may be even more divisive than actual power levels.
Many players would probably agree that music is one of SF6's weakest assets for the whole package, but JAK has most of the cast in at least A rank for their themes interestingly.
That of course includes Jamie up in S tier, but can you guess the only other fighter up there with him?
As for his own girl, JAK puts Juri in B tier though notes that it's still a step up from her Street Fighter 5 theme, which he plays a bit of to give you a refresher of how bad that was.
Although we can't actually play as her yet, the competitor was also able to at least rate her music that ends up being around the middle of the road for him too.
It would have been hard to imagine Guile ever ranking so low in a theme ranking, but without his classic riff, we feel lost without it.
