A.K.I.'s Street Fighter 6 default colors and game faces revealed
During their online program presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2023, Capcom provided new details on Street Fighter 6's upcoming DLC character, A.K.I. This new contender is joining the playable cast on September 27, and it appears there was still more to show us about her before her official launch.
The live stream provided new footage of A.K.I. in action, complete with her walk out and two of her fight intros. Most importantly, though, today we were given a look at all 10 of her default costume colors for the first time, as well as her game faces.
"A.K.I. is an understudy of F.A.N.G, a former leader of Shadaloo," says Capcom about the newcomer. "She takes great joy in using her beloved poison."
The new footage shows A.K.I. walking out against herself after being selected at the character select screen, then we get to see all four of her game faces. In Street Fighter 6, game faces are reactions that you can make your fighter perform at the versus screen just before a match begins.
For A.K.I., we see that her game faces include an evil smile, a surprised look, a look of suspicion, and one of brooding. As you might expect, her reactions look great here in Street Fighter 6.
"She's a tricky character that confuses her opponents with her Snake Fists and claws, adding damage through her poison," Capcom continues. "She is a versatile fighter that mainly uses poisonous projectiles and claw attacks, then moves into close range to deal even more damage to poisoned opponents."
When she is released, A.K.I.'s default costume will have colors 3-10 available to unlock. Capcom showed what all 10 colors look like during the stream, and among them we see palettes like that which gives her a yellow dress and blue hair, a white and blue dress, and the more sinister red and black color option.

Of course, she will also have outfit 2 available for purchase when she drops. This alternate costume puts A.K.I. into a frilly, gothic-looking dress.
Like Rashid before her, A.K.I. will also appear as a Master in the single-player World Tour Mode. On top of this, there will be a new location, called Tian Hong Yuan, that you can explore and find A.K.I. waiting for you.
A.K.I. joins Street Fighter 6 on September 27. She is the game's second DLC character, with Rashid preceding her and Ed and Akuma set to follow her here in year 1.
