Mortal Kombat 1 final Kombat Kast before launch live stream
NetherRealm Studios is returning for one final big show before launch. Mortal Kombat 1 will be officially released via early access tomorrow for anyone who pre-ordered the Premium Edition of the game, and the developers behind the title are running their final Kombat Kast before the game's launch today.
With this being the last big Kombat Kast before the game's release, we expect this to be an action-packed show.
"One more go before #MK1," wrote the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account. "Wednesday, September 13 @ 10:00 AM PT/12:00 PM CT. The #KombatKast returns."
Considering that we just saw the game's official launch trailer and gameplay reveal of Reiko, it's not likely that we'll see much in the way of major announcements during this broadcast. That being said, there will definitely be a lot of new gameplay and new information from the developers during the broadcast.
As always, the Kombat Kast is being live streamed over on NetherRealm Studios' Twitch channel.
At this point in time, we know for sure that NRS will be showcasing a full gameplay breakdown of pre-order bonus fighter Shang Tsung. It was only in this week's launch trailer that we saw actual gameplay of Shang in action, so today will certainly be illuminating on that front.
In addition to Shang Tsung, NetherRealm also confirmed that we'll be seeing a detailed gameplay breakdown of Invasions and Reiko, as well as the much-anticipated Belt Battle.
Mortal Kombat 1 will launch for everyone on September 19, 2023. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
