One last new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer is coming this week before release

Although Mortal Kombat 1 was first unveiled just a handful of months ago, the game is now just a few days away from being in the hands of players.

Before that happens, however, it seems NetherRealm Studios has one more trailer on the way for MK1 before release.

Series co-creator Ed Boon took to Twitter earlier this evening to simply state that a new launch trailer is coming this week though he doesn't spell it out as to when.

It could technically drop at any time, but we think there is a good shot the new trailer could debut at the last Kombat Kast coming before release this week on September 13.

We don't know obviously what's going to be included in the video, but we still have yet to see all of the characters that are playable in MK1.

Reiko is basically confirmed to be on the roster though he's been absent from the public view thus far โ€” he did show up behind closed doors at Comic-Con San Diego, however.

They've also shown next to nothing about Shang Tsung, who's the pre-order DLC character for the game, and fans are itching to see more of what he can do in his new state.

It's only been a few days since the release of the previous trailer, which revealed Nitara for the cast as voiced by Megan Fox surprisingly though NetherRealm remains shy to show us what's going on with Mileena now.

Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to launch in early access for those who pre-order the Premium and Kollector's Editions on September 14, so we presume this launch trailer will come some time before that while the full release is happening next week on September 19.
