One final Kombat Kast coming before Mortal Kombat 1 launch next week

It sure does feel like Mortal Kombat 1 was just unveiled not that long ago at all, but it's already almost here and in our hands.

Before that happens, however, NetherRealm Studios revealed today they are going to hold one last Kombat Kast before the game releases.

The next entry in the Kombat Kast live shows is scheduled to take place next Thursday, September 13, at 10 a.m. PDT / 12 p.m. CDT.

At this time, they haven't confirmed who and what is going to be the focus of the final pre-launch stream, but we have a few good guesses.

The long awaited return of Nitara is probably close to the top of that list, being portrayed by Megan Fox in MK1, though we've yet to see much gameplay breakdown wise for characters like Mileena, Raiden, Reptile, Havik, Tanya and Shang Tsung.

They could also show off more of their new single-player Invasion mode as well though probably not much of the story.

Previously, they've covered the new Kameo system, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Smoke, Ashrah, Geras, Li Mei, Sindel, Rain and General Shao across the first three Kombat Kasts in order.

As was the case with their other shows thus far, the latest Kombat Kast will be found on the official NetherRealm Twitch channel and run for likely around one hour in total.

This may be their last show before release, but we can expect there will be more to come in the following months for when the Kombat Pack 1 characters and beyond start heading our way.

Mortal Kombat 1 itself will be launching early the very next day, September 14, for players who pre-order the Premium or Kollector's Editions while everyone else will be hopping on the game Sept. 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
