Spectre gameplay reveal trailer shown off for DNF Duel, Season Pass detailed
It is approaching 1 year since DNF Duel first launched, and while the game hasn't received any new DLC since launch yet, that's about to finally change.
Arc System Works revealed Spectre's gameplay trailer following the Arc World Tour 2022 Finals as well as more information about the upcoming new character and Season Pass.
As can be seen in the footage, Spectre fights using 2 blades that give her excellent range and better movement options than most of the rest of the cast.
She can move 8 directions in the air by tossing out her White Fang blade and pulling herself along its wire to change up her aerial trajectory.
On top of just the new character, ArcSys also unveiled their Season Pass roadmap for DNF, which confirms this season will be made up of 5 new characters and 1 more stage.
Spectre won't be launching as the first character until this Summer, but she'll be bringing with her an updated Awakening system as well as more new mechanics to make the experience deeper than before.
In that update, players can choose between Clear Cube and Gold Cube for Awakening, with the former activating at 50% health and lower strength than Gold, which likely works similarly to how it functions now.
The developers also mention a new defensive mechanic they're planning to add at the same time too, but they don't what to go into detail as what that is just yet.
As could likely be presumed by the roadmap, ArcSys came out to ensure fans they plan to support the game through at least 2024 with new content and balance updates on the way.
