Bedman? announced for Guilty Gear Strive, Asuka R. Kreuz seemingly teased

It was previously announced that Guilty Gear Strive's next DLC character would be delayed slightly until April, but we didn't know their identity until tonight.

Arc System Works revealed following the Arc World Tour 2022 Finals that Bedman? (aka Delilah) will be the 3rd DLC character to join the game's second season.

Delilah from Strive's Another Story expansion is joining the roster using her brother's broken bedframe from the Guilty Gear Xrd series to do most of the fighting for her.

Unlike the original Bedman, Delilah isn't strapped down to the contraption and can move around on her own though she battles in tandem with the machine that has seen its better days.

We get to see some familiar moves like the head toss and top spin options, but it seems she'll be a bit more of a straightforward brawler compared to her brother.

Bedman? is scheduled to release on April 6, 2023, alongside the new stage Fairy's Forest Factory as part of the Season Pass 2 for Strive.

At the very end of the trailer, ArcSys included a brief teaser for the next DLC character coming to Strive in May, and it appears as though it's finally time to see Asuka R. Kreuz in action.

Fans have been waiting to see what Asuka (aka That Man) is capable of as a fighting game character for more than 20 years, and though we've had to wait longer to get him than initially thought given his role in the story, it looks like the master magician is just a few months away now.

To cap off the round of announcements for the night, the developers also announced they are already working on Season 3 for Guilty Gear Strive, so support for the game will go on into at least 2024.
