How much sauce does Zangief have in Street Fighter 6? Desk's new combo showcase has the grappler dripping with style
Zangief and most traditional grapplers in Street Fighter have never really been known for their extended combos, but the new game is changing that up quite a bit.
Desk is back with his latest Street Fighter 6 combo showcase for Zangief to show off all the sauce the pro wrestler can do with so much damage.
Things start out fairly tame with a punish Drive Impact jump over into Drive Rush combo, but it's only going to get more wild from here.
After landing Gief's launching level 2 Super Art, Desk is able to string together 6 raw Drive Rushes to keep the juggle going just to end it all (and Manon's life) with his level 1 anti-air Super.
Those same sorts of Drive Rush juggles also perfectly set up Zangief to get some big damage by being able to combo into air Overdrive SPD too.
One thing we were not quite prepared for though was Desk managing to combo OD Double Lariat into air OD SPD as well from a Punish Counter launch.
Since this is still Zangief, you're not going to get 50-hit combos out of him like Desk did with Chun-Li, but these are still probably some of the longest strings the dude has ever had in a Street Fighter game.
