Get the beat down on Dee Jay's tricky level 2 Super Art in Street Fighter 6 like it's a rhythm game
In just a matter of months, Dee Jay went from basically being a joke in the Street Fighter fanbase to one of the most interesting and technical characters of Street Fighter 6 that players seem to be quite enjoying.
The Jamaican pop star's level 2 Super Art is also one of the most unique in SF6 since it doesn't really accomplish much if you don't know the right rhythm and buttons, but how do you fix that quickly?
Well, ErebusWolf recently shared a quick guide from their Lab Monster Toolkit that turns Dee Jay's Super into a rhythm game to help get the timing down on the follow-up attacks.
There is visual indication in the game itself when to press the buttons, which is each time Dee Jay lands a hit of his combo, but this goes a step further.
Using the tool, ErebusWolf has a moving track like you'd see in a rhythm game set to the different buttons, which makes Midi sounds at the correct timing to get the big finish at the end.
Street Fighter 6 does include a cancel window timing indicator built into its training mode too, but people learn in different ways and getting down the input rhythm can be one of the trickiest things to figure out when first starting to learn the series / new characters.
It is also just kinda funny to see Dee Jay's musical Super represented as though it was in an actual music game.
