MultiVersus developer gives some hope to fans wanting Breaking Bad's Walter White in the crossover fighter but there's a big problem

I don't think he's going to come knocking

Warner Bros. owns a ridiculous amount of properties that they could use in MultiVersus with ease, but we've only seen them scratch the surface of potential characters thus far.

Out of all possible choices, some fans are very vocal about wanting Breaking Bad's Walter White in the crossover platform fighting game, and a MultiVersus developer seems to be giving them hope that this could already be cooking behind the scenes — but there's a big problem with that.

The aptly named Twitter account leading the charge Walter White For MultiVersus recently responded to an official tweet for the game stating the only way they'll have a good 2023 is if Heisenberg to the roster.

Dan Eder, the senior character artist for MVS, actually responded to the request with the simple and vague line of "expect good things."

While it is interesting that Eder would reply to just that account specifically, there is quite the snag present that'll likely prevent that from happening.

That's because Breaking Bad isn't owned by WB, but rather AMC.

As mentioned before, WB already has the full rights to essentially thousands of different series / characters, so there's very little reason for them to chase an outside license for someone like Walter White.

There's no real telling what Eder is pointing towards in his post at this point, but fans should keep their expectations to an absolute minimum for representatives outside of WB until shown otherwise.

That being said, we could soon be seeing another criminal mastermind join MultiVersus in the near future, as voice lines for Mark Hamill's Joker previously leaked for MultiVersus, indicating he'll be chasing Batman to a new universe.
