Mortal Kombat 1 Beta tier list created by A Foxy Grampa
Mortal Kombat 1's Beta ended not too long ago. The playable characters that were available during this time were Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Kenshi, Li Mei, and Johnny Cage.
Panther|A Foxy Grampa recently created a tier list that ranks all six characters from the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta. Despite achieving god status at the end of Mortal Kombat 11, Liu Kang ended up being the weakest fighter on the tier list.
Li Mei was ultimately rated as being the second worst character in the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta. Though it's noted that Li Mei has great projectiles, combo damage, and strings that are advantageous on block, A Foxy Grampa notes that she's very dependent on her Kameo selection. It proved to be almost a necessity to choose Jax or Frost instead of Kano and Sonya.
Johnny Cage was ranked as the fourth best fighter of the Mortal Kombat 1 Beta. It's stated that Johnny Cage plays similar to how he did in Mortal Kombat 9, but he always has to be aggressive due to him no longer having a projectile.
Kitana and Sub-Zero were said to be very strong, but first place ended up going to Kenshi. While A Foxy Grampa says that Kenshi is slightly underpowered in his normal stance, the combatant becomes insane with Sento Stance.
